The vineyard is located on a sandy loam soil with a large quantity of pebbles throughout its profile, as it is located a few meters away from the Tunuyán river.

SOIL
Eugenio Bustos has a deep alluvial clay loam soil, with a moderate quantity of stones throughout its profile.
Ugarteche has soils composed of coarse sand and a large quantity of pebbles throughout its profile. In addition, a distinctive feature of this vineyard is that it is surrounded by fields with abundant native evergreen shrubs called jarillas, which transfer spicy aromas and flavours to the grapes.

Los Chacayes: Alluvial, not very deep, with little moisture-holding capacity. It is composed of sand, stones and caliche.
Agrelo: Loam to clay loam and not very deep, with pebbles at depth.

Both soils are of alluvial source, very poor, with little structure, and have great presence of rocks, imprinting the grapes with the expression of both terroirs.
