The Wines Today, Septima produces two types of wine: a range of wines made up of generic wines, Septima Malbec – Cabernet Sauvignon and Septima Chardonnay Semillon, and another made up of grape varieties, Septima Malbec, Septima Cabernet Sauvignon, Septima Tempranillo and Septima Syrah. The cellar also produces a sparkling wine elaborated following the Traditional Method, María Codorníu, the composition of which is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir.
Septima has also been producing a reserve wine made with the Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec varieties since the middle of 2004.
Although absolutely Argentinean in their conception and production, Septima wines are born with the commitment of crossing borders and entering the international markets of the European Union, Eastern Europe and the whole American continent. Currently, wine sales are distributed in the following way: 20% of the production is destined for the national market and the remaining 80% for export.
